Melissa + Mike…the e-session | Calgary Engagement Photographers

Melissa and Mike met on a blind date..how cool is that? I love hearing how our couples meet each other. You never know where you are going to find your soul mate. Besides being adventurous they are HUGE outdoor enthusiasts. They spend as much time as they can hiking, biking, boating and camping so it was fitting that Mike proposed to Melissa while they were hiking in Red Rock Canyon! When chatting about a spot to shoot their engagement photos they decided they would like to do them at Griffith Woods as it is right by their house and they spend a lot of their spare time there. It is a beautiful park…Jeff and I know of a lot of cool spots in Calgary but this is one place we had never been before. I honestly cannot wait for an opportunity to shoot there again

I had the absolute pleasure of having the cute little Miss Teal in my studio yesterday for some headshots. She is working for Reflections Weddings and Event Production and needed a nice new photo for their website and advertising! I love her sense of style and that cute little red dress she wore..I can’t wait to see some of her wedding designs!

Robert + Stephanie…the wedding | Calgary Wedding Photographer

We have been looking forward to Stephanie + Robert’s wedding for some time now..they are such a cute couple! I wish we ended up getting some nicer weather, we really like snow but the flakes were small and were coming down so quickly they hurt your eyes but these guys toughed it out for a little bit anyways..then we had to find a covered spot to finish doing photos.
Stephanie and Robert’s best friends live next door to them so Jeff and I got to photograph their getting ready right next to each other. As soon as I stepped into the house there were people buzzing everywhere. Trena from Trena Laine was just finishing up Stepahnie’s make-up and were almost ready to get her into her dress! Fortunately for me and unfortunately for Stephanie she forgot to go to the bathroom before getting dressed so I got to grab a shot of her girls helping her wrangle her dress while in the bathroom! ( I love these moments ) We had a great day..their bridal party was a blast to hang around with and had no problem hamming it up for the camera as you will see
