Hey there!  We are Shelley & Jeff Weber, photographers from Calgary Alberta.  We are a husband and wife team who are known for our romantic realism and ability to capture those special moments and places.

This blog follows both our personal and professional life.  This is like our own photo album of the things we do, the places we go and the people we love.  We want to give you a sense of who we are and what we are about. Cheers!

Model shoot… | Calgary Model Portfolio Photographer

Amrit graced my studio looking for some more modeling portfolio shots. He’s a super cool guy and brought a great energy to the shoot. Here’s a few of my fav frames from his session…

Daniela - Sweet shots..he's a cutie. Love that first one...great lighting. The last one is so gonna get the little ladies all worked up ;)

horses… | Calgary Equine Photographer

These are not the normal kind of pictures you see on my blog!
A fun fact about me is I had horses growing up and it was such a big part of my life. I have such good memories of all that time spent with my mom, sister, 4-H, horse shows and trail rides..well…that was until I was 18 and boys became much more interesting! Needless to say I have a HUGE soft spot for these beautiful creatures and when I was asked if I would come out and photograph some of their Morgans for advertising I jumped on it! These are some of more the candid/artsy ones I took, not the ones I was hired to do. I couldn’t help myself…haha

Kari-Ann - LOVE IT!!!!!!! I miss our horses!!!

Shawna - Love Love Love!!!

Chantel - BREATHTAKING! Love the finish, OK I want a horse again, thanks a lot ;)

Art Yochim - Shelley, great work. I really like the antique treatment of the prints. Fits the subject perfectly. By the by, is there anything you can't photograph? :)

Jessica Zais - Beautiful! The first and last ones are my favs. : )

Corey Kaye - Love the borders. Beautiful!

Kendra - Wow Shelley these are beautiful!

Sergei Belski - Great photographs!

Courtney - Wow wow wow.

Paula Bitner - These are just gorgeous Shelley!

Sharon - Beautiful work Shelley!!!!!!! Morgans were one of my favorites as a youngster. Love the last one!! Wish I could have you photograph my horses and all my animals!

Erin + Brennen…the engagement session | calgary wedding photographer

Oh man..you really couldn’t meet two sweeter people! We were so thrilled when they decided to go with us as their wedding photographers! Yay! When they first came over they sat cuddled on the couch each taking turns chatting..always touching and paying attention to what each other had to say, so thoughtful and caring. You can clearly see the love they have for one another and they were such a joy to photograph….we are looking forward to your wedding!

Here’s what they had to say….

When’s the big day? October 23, 2010

How did you meet? We met through Erin’s brother (Ryan), who Brennen went to school and lived with.

How did he/she propose?
Erin is taking her RN degree through correspondence and was studying for her midterm in stats all day. I thought that she could use a break and we decided to go for a walk. I had the ring in my pocket all day and felt that this was thee day; it was the new year and Erin was starting her new job, it was perfect. We walked to one of our favorite parks close to my place that looks out towards the mountains. I then took her hands and asked the simple question after some ramblings of how she means the world to me. Then after a moment of surprise Erin accepted numerous times and we walked back to my place hand in hand with the ring on her finger.

Favorite thing about each other?
he says: Her variety of laughs and beautiful smile
she says: He can read my mind when it matters the most

Your idea of a perfect date?
he says: Swooshing down the slopes, powder flying all around us on our snowboards. Then to finish off the day with a cozy fire and a romantic meal.
she says: I agree!

Kisses, hugs or snuggles?

he says: All three please!
she says: Kisses!

What’s your favorite thing to do together?
Going on our favorite ‘dates’ to Safeway and Canadian Tire (when actually he really only needs groceries really badly).

Favorite Starbucks drink?
he says: Does Starbucks serve Coca-Cola? If it does then that!
she says: Pumpkin Spice latte at Thanksgiving

Your favorite hangout?
The mountains

One place in the world you must go see?
he says: Lake Como, Italy
she says:The Black Forest, Germany just so I can eat cake!

What are you looking forward to the most on your wedding day?
he says: To see my beautiful bride walk down the aisle surrounded by all of our loved ones.
she says: Being announced as husband and wife!

Corey Kaye - Erin truly has beautiful eyes and you've capture them so well! Absolutely beautiful photos. Congrats Erin & Brennen!!

Ashley Tyler - This session is one of my top favourites... in my opinion one of your best engagement sessions ever!!! I AM IN LOVE WITH EVERY PHOTO!!!!!

Brittany - Uh. Dear groom-to-be. You have one gorgeous bride-to-be. They look like so much fun and so comfortable in front of the camera. The light is delicious (but I am pretty sure you could make a black hole look like a Californian sunset). Can hardly wait to see their wedding images :)

Shawna + Adam…the photobooth | calgary photobooth photographers

Yup this is what happens as soon as the marriage is official!!

Kidding…this is what happens in the As I See It PHOTOBOOTH at the reception! We had a blast with this group! Turn up your speakers and enjoy…I love the song selection Shawna picked :-)

Chris Rothecker - variety ... wow that's a lot of stuff they brought with them hey ... but that makes it even better ...
