We were so happy the day we got the email from Tara saying she was engaged and wanted to meet with us! We first met her last year at Mike and Tasha’s wedding where she was a bridesmaid. We love when we get to work with people we already know from past weddings !
These two are naturals in front of the camera, we literally put them in the spot where we wanted to shoot and just let them be themselves. Here they thought they would be soooo hard to photograph. LOL
You guys are a georgeous couple and so good together, the way you guys look at each other and hold each other melts my heart

Ok I am seriously behind on blogging..so I am sorry to all those families and babies I have not blogged. I will try to get to them

Now onto the fun stuff! We had a beautiful fall evening for our session..we managed to catch some nice fall colors which is a miracle here in Calgary because we maybe get about 1 week of nice color before the wind blows all the leaves off the trees. LOL
Once we got past the nervousness ( like 5 mins) their inner models came out! Way to go guys!!  Enjoy your sneak peek.

I love her hair..like serious hair envy ..LOL  That was one of the first things I noticed as we welcomed them into our studio the first time we met. The second thing I noticed was how much John adored her Can’t say I blame John, everything about Chelsea is cute!
We had beautiful weather for about an hour and then the dust storm hit… Good thing Jeff saw it coming in time to tell us all to turn our backs to it. That put an end to our session, there were tree branches breaking off and you couldn’t really see that well because of all the dirt flying around. The storm made for a few wild sky photo’s…enjoy guys!

We are really excited to be shooting Shauna and Cam’s wedding next year! They are getting married in Kelowna at the Harvest Golf Club and that’s pretty cool for us because Jeff and I had our wedding reception there 14 years ago! We had a lot of fun with you guys and I liked the Starbucks break..thanks for the coffee! LOL

We had a fun time doing their engagement session. First off they brought Handsum who is a real sweetheart..he was on his best behaviour for his photoshoot! Secondly Matt is a fishing guide so we worked what he loves to do into their session. I have to admit Paula rocked the waders! You guys are so cool and fun to be around.
