I love love love this session…we had planned on shooting by the vintage car and when I saw what Carolyn was wearing I was even more excited, it was going to look awesome!
We had a beautiful evening, nice soft light, some rain and dramatic clouds! Besides Paul ripping his shirt on barb wire ( which I still feel bad about..but that last shot was worth it!) we had a ton of laughs and it was so much fun just hanging out for awhile. You guys have amazing chemisty and we can’t wait for your wedding! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Here’s what they had to say…(check out their fun fact, it’s pretty cool..some things are just meant to be.)
When’s the big day?
October 10, 2010
How did you meet? Carolyn went up to visit a friend at the U of A and Paul
lived on her floor in residence! That mutual friend is one of our lovely
bridesmaids.
How did he/she propose? I was living in Edmonton and he came up from Calgary
to visit. I knew he was coming to visit but he snuck into my condo (with the
help of my roommate) and was waiting when I got home from work. He proposed
right inside my door amidst twinkly Christmas lights
Favourite thing about each other?
he says: How cool and fun she is to hang out with.
she says: That I can always be myself with him, even at my geekiest.
Your idea of a perfect date?
he says: Long all Saturday date with hanging out doing whatever in the afternoon, dinner out, and a movie/night out to cap it off.
she says: Going out for a long dinner and then watching a movie. I know – dinner and a movie is so original, but it works
Kisses, hugs or snuggles?
he says: Kisses
she says: Snuggles
What’s your favorite thing to do together? Lay in bed and chat.
Favorite Starbucks drink?
he says: Vanilla bean frappuccino (sp?)
she says: Peppermint hot chocolate…haha neither of us drink coffee
Your favorite hangout? Home
One place in the world you must go see?
he says: Germany
she says: Germany
What are you looking forward to the most on your wedding day?
he says: Reception in general…just the celebration of our marriage with our favorite people in the world.
she says: Dancing with my husband and all our friends to “Shout”
Fun fact: We were born in the same hospital two days apart and were probably
in the nursery at the same time!
