I think Janelle is my long lost twin..lol! We are so similar in personalities it’s hilarious. Poor Jeff and Dustin can’t get a word in edgewise when we start talking. I am pretty sure this is going to be a really fun wedding filled with tons of laughter. Thanks for putting up with all the mosquitoes and for standing in the waterfall =) You guys rock!
When’s the big day?
November 17th, four years and one day from our first kiss and from the start of this crazy and amazing adventure we are on together.
How did you meet?
We worked together at a trucking company. Dustin was a manager and I worked in the parcel express division coding and manifesting bills. We started off as total strangers and soon became best friends! Now we are still best friends but are madly in love with each other too! Perfect combination
How did he/she propose?
Dustin proposed to me over-looking the lake at North Glenmore Park at the same spot where we had our first kiss.
Favorite thing about each other?
he says: It would be impossible for me to narrow it down to just one thing. I love everything about Janelle she is all I have ever hoped and dreamed for.
she says: I love Dustin’s strength, and his ability to keep me calm and safe under any circumstance. His sense of humor and love for me is something I never thought I would be blessed enough to experience.
Your idea of a perfect date?
he says: A ride on my motorbikewith Janelle on the back. What’s better then the girl of your dreams holding you close and the wind in your face? Perfection
she says: I don’t care where I am or what I am doing, a long as I’m with Dust I am completely content, mushy I know but it’s the truth

he says: All of the above!
she says: All three obviously lol and preferably all at once
What’s your favorite thing to do together?
We love doing everything we can together. Dustin’s job keeps him away from home for most of each week so when he is home we do random, spontaneous things. What we do really doesn’t matter, as long as we’re together!
Favorite Starbucks drink?
he says: Carmel Macchiato
she says: Carmel Macchiato, but Dustin’s always tastes better then mine, so when he’s not looking I always switch them!! Muahh hahhahha shhhhhhh
Your favorite hangout?
We love hanging out anywhere the motorbike can take us! Bragg Creek in the summer time is a regular trip for us, and Koocanusa, BC where we go camping for two weeks every summer!

What are you looking forward to the most on your wedding day?
he says: Seeing how beautiful Janelle will look in her dress and finally being able to call her my wife. Plus she keeps telling me her dress is Gold and I want to see if she’s lying because I’m pretty sure she is
she says: The church doors opening and finally seeing Dustin waiting for me at the end of the aisle. Finally becoming Mrs. Janelle Slawson…..ps my dress is totally gold!! Would I lie to my future husband?
